JakTripper merges diverse styles and influences together in an eclectic mix of Rock, Alternative, Pop, Metal, and Blues. The results are far from typical of most bands on the scene today. – JakTripper flat out rocks!

Roy “\m/” Silva is multi insturmental. Some say he is just plain “mental”……mental for music that is! Roy plays guitar, drums, bass, and a variety of percussion insturments, all with an energy and passion that has caused complete madness at some shows!! The \m/ stands for Metal….roy is heavy metal….you’ll see!! JeFF Bunag a.k.a. J-2013 lays down the beat like no other, and has been doing it with a vengeance in bands like X-Side, and Jambuoy. Well versed in all styles, J-2010 is the rhythmic foundation of the Jaktripper experience. Chicks just dig his hair!!! We like the way he plays… Doug “SluG” McBride has been seen milling around some time now, supplying lead vox for the bands like Ted Nugent and Pink Floyd. We didn’t say Nugent and Floyd, but bands “like” them. SluG is an engaging front man, who has a knack for sounding like just about any artist he covers. Johnny “the wad” Braun is the sonic glue that holds Jaktripper together. You may have seen him in the L.A. band Wired, or in local bands Jambuoy, and VVX. He makes his six string sing, and his melodic solos rival those of the guitarists he emulates. John enjoys nachos and big wads of cash!! Darren “Derb” Hawkinson provides thunderous, in the pocket, bass chops that leave the weaker at heart flopping like squids….if squids flopped. Derb was named after the self invented wresting hold the “derbus”, which he developed in a brief stint with the WWF.
