Oh Yes!

Oh Yes! The newest band to hit the NW Suburbs of Chicago. What started as down time during a pandemic for Matthew Pablecas, Brian Sheridan, TJ Wilkes, Robert Watson, and Tony Jordan has now evolved into a band that is starting to rock out the live music venues in the Chicagoland area.

When the pandemic started in 2020, the music world (along with the rest of the world) came crashing to a halt. For musicians Matt Pablecas, Brian Sheridan, TJ Wilkes, and Doc Watson, one of the hobbies that they love, performing live music, was instantly taken away. As time passed, an idea came about to test out a concept of a “Live from Daryl’s House” for local musicians and just like that, “Live from Matt’s Barn” (https://www.liveatmattsbarn.com) was born. The four musicians began collaborating with other local musicians and recording their sessions. The recordings allowed for the musicians to enjoy what they love once again while the live music venues and festivals shut down for the year. ​

As more sessions were completed and added, more people began to take notice of the Live at Matt’s Barn sessions and people started to ask about the band and live events. Matt, Brian, TJ, and Doc started working with other musicians trying to complete a full band. A suggestion from a friend brought the guys in touch with guitarist Tony Jordan, and Oh Yes! was officially born. ​

Oh Yes! is now booking shows in the Chicagoland area and quickly becoming one of the hottest good time bands in the area. Their incredible harmonies, diverse set list, and crowd interaction create and electric atmosphere that gets everyone up dancing and singing along during their show.
